B and B on the North Devon Coast - Thursday, 25 September 2008
The North Devon coast is full of fun tourist activities and locations to explore with your family at any time of the year. The Combe Martin Museum is a dedication to Combe Martin's varied and fascinating maritime history. Also in Combe Martin is the Wildlife & Dinosaur Park set on the edge of Exmoor with a range of relaxing activities including sea lion shows, falconry displays, tropical birds and acre upon acre of beautiful gardens with water features galore.
Moving on to Lynton and Lynmouth is the Cliff Railway - a unique water-powered Victorian railway that opened in 1890. It links the towns of Lynton and Lynmouth and is an excellent journey to take with the kids.
Also further down the coast is Lundy Island, a beautiful island approximately 3 miles long out in the Bristol Channel. It features a lighthouse, a castle and is ideal for birdwatching or walking.
All in all, if you're stopping in a B and B anywhere along the North Devon Coast, you won't be short of a few things to do
