Looking around beyond our lovely bed and breakfast accommodation at Wilsham Farm, there are a number of nice places to stay that will really give you a good weekend. Beyond the borders of Wilsham FarmLynton and Lynmouth (twin villages) have been a popular holiday destination since before the Victorian times when the area became known as 'Little Switzerland' because of height difference between the harbour and Lynton and because of the hilly surrounds. The area is an ideal base from which you can explore Exmoor National Park, with miles of moorland and valleys and let's not forget North Devon's spectacular coastline.
There are a range of places to stay nearby and you don't need to pick the twin villages. Wherever you pick, be it a hotel or guest house, is sure to offer you different vantage points with which to explore Exmoor and Lynton no matter what.
